ParentAbility
Tanja Knutson, IBCLC, of ParentAbility aims to guide parents through all the steep learning curves of parenthood by offering prenatal breastfeeding classes, in-home consults for lactation support as well as bi-weekly groups for breastfeeding moms. She is also a parenting coach and offers workshops called How To Talk So Kids Will Listen to help parents learn effective communication skills. By empowering parents with information and support, Tanja hopes to help each family find their own unique parenting style.

Kristen has been helping mother and babies breastfeed since 2012, and has been Board Certified since 2015. She offers home and office visits. She received her lactation education from the University of California San Diego, while completing over 300 clinical hours. Kristen as experience working in both a private practice setting, as well as a hospital setting. She enjoys helping families work towards their breastfeeding goals, whatever they may be. Kristen is also a certified American Heart Association CPR instructor, and teaches a variety of classes at Special Addition including an Infant Safety course. She has three children of her own whom she breastfed, and has lots of pumping expertise. She and her family enjoy camping, attempting to grow a garden, and chocolate in all forms!
