Job Description:
We are looking for an RN with labor and delivery experience to work PRN with our certified nurse midwives in the birth center setting. This experienced RN will have current NRP, BLS and RN license. Responsibilities include directly assisting the CNM in caring for the family during labor, birth and postpartum, performing duties within the scope of nursing practice including starting and maintaining IV’s, drawing blood , administering medications per CNM order and completing nursing assessments, directly assisting the family immediately following birth and during the initial hours postpartum.
